Title: Twisted House
Description: This house is an abstract representation of my idea of home. It is a personal journey of mine; the house resides on a mountain, representing independence but maybe also loneliness. Then the base represents my childhood home, full of imagination, light, and childhood happiness as represented by the colors and structures. It is childhood innocence. However, because of my experiences growing up, the rest of my childhood home seems to have been cut short or ripped off, and a more haunted-looking, dilapidated top part of the house is stitched on. The haunted part of the house represents me growing up, being exposed to more of the dark parts of the world and even more loneliness inside and outside of my home.
