Student Name: Alina M
Grade: 4
Title: Zebra Teapot
Description: Alinas piece is fanciful and lovely , both. The hardest part for her, matching up the lines and creating a unique zebra design, as her research led her to understand was important for each zebra. The hair of the mane and tail, was donated after many phone calls to local barns until we found one that was willing to part with some horse hair. As luck would have it, a horse with a black mane had just gotten its hair caught in the fence and a hank had pulled out. They donated the entire hank so we could also use it for a Raku Firing in the future.
