Description:Honoring Bauhaus Master potter, Marguerite Wildenhain, and her Pond Farm Pottery in Guerneville, CA. Cash award recognizes excellence in craftsmanship of traditional wheel-thrown ceramic forms and earthy glazing. Inspired by her teaching and philosophy, works with surface design/texture, and her design principles will be highly regarded. The student will learn about Marguerite Wildenhain and Pond Farm Pottery’s status as a National Historic Landmark. Selection by juror using these guidelines
