Title: Spring in Osaka
Description: I used the coil method to create an amphora which I added a design of two koi fish and a lily pad onto by using black underglaze. I took inspiration from one of my fondest and clearest childhood memories of when I visited my family in Osaka and we always went to this park with a large pond and koi fish that you could get close to by some stairs leading down the the edge of the pond. I always fed the koi fish and the beautiful lilies and lily pads are also shown on the piece.
