Title: | Blood Bonded Vases |
Description: | My piece uses a technic called mocha diffusion. I used the alkaline agent iron oxide as well the acid agent of my grandmothers favorite drink. Iron is very prevalent in blood and representative as well, and while using the representative of my grandmother this piece it is very bonded to myself and my bloodline. The branches of the mocha diffusion show the connections of family as well. This piece is demonstrative of the different hierarchy within family dynamics as well. With the three different heights it show the three most important generations; grandparents, parents, and an individual. Overall this piece shows my connection to my heritage as well as my respect and admiration of those above me. |
