| Description: | Many people face difficulties in their relationship with their own bodies. The beauty standards are often unrealistic and inconsistent, and warp people’s perception of their own bodies. I had personally struggled with my body image and had a couple eating disorders for some time, which, I can proudly say I am free from now. During harder moments in this journey, I often felt like I was either one of these two figures, either “too fat” or “too skinny” in different areas of my body, never satisfied. I want to let the struggling people know one thing. The human body is not built to look a certain way that the society sees as attractive, and if it keeps you alive and healthy, there shouldn’t be any problem in that. |
