Title: Ruby
Description: The sculpture is designed from my dog ruby i chose to design it off her because she because means a lot to me. I made this sculpture out of raku clay. O started pff first by making a ball of clay and hollowing out a small piece on the bottom sticking it on a pyramid for the neck. afterwards i defined her facial feature onto onto the head and getting the main shpe of her face. after that i added the fur with long peice of clay wraping around the head and neck and i smoothed it out after puting it on. After i hollowed out the the bottom of the piece then i cut off the top of the head and hollow the head out and the snout. I reconnected the the top of the head by using slip and scratching it on and smoothing it out. a the end of assembling it i put on the ears and painted it with acrilic paint and let it dry. lasty I used floor wax to make it shine.
