Title: | Koi Fish |
Description: | The fish were hand sculpted. This set was created using aluminum foil saggar firing, and depicts two koi fish in their classic yin and yang positioning. The unique coloring came from a variety of different materials including banana peels, plant fertilizer, salt and sugar. This combined with ferric acid was then wrapped in aluminum foil to create the final product, with mixtures of reds, oranges, browns, and black. |
