Title: | Sunset Bowl |
Description: | This piece was thrown on the wheel and altered. It analyzes the balance of light and darkness and how the hues of the sunset interrupt the typical blues of the sky. I explored color, texture, and pattern throughout this piece by starting with a basic bowl and adding wavy pieces around the outside to bring more texture and represent light coming through clouds in wavy beams. |
