| Description: | I had a lot of fun with this little sculpture of a rat, from creating the organic, loose fur texture to whittling the tiny nails. I was influenced by Beth Cavener Stichter's textures and liveliness of her animal sculptures. For this piece, I used flat interior latex paint to create the subtleties in the fur's blended gradient. |
